Note: County maps are based upon Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Form 477 data, as submitted by internet service providers to the FCC. Maps are prepared for the West Virginia Broadband Enhancement Council by the West Virginia Development Office and can be displayed and printed without special software. Maps are based upon June 2020 FCC data, released in April 2021, and will be updated upon new releases from the FCC. The West Virginia Broadband Enhancement Council continues to advocate for improvements to the FCC broadband mapping. Speed testing will help the Council collect the actual user data needed to map the presence and level of broadband service within each West Virginia county.
