The West Virginia Department of Economic Development has issued a voluntary data request in parallel to the Federal communication Commission’s (FCC) Digital Opportunity Data Collection (DODC) process.

The intention of this data request is to receive the information when it is submitted to the FCC to mitigate any delays between broadband program rounds that require the latest filings of data.

WVDED requests that ISPs operating in the State concurrently provide it with the portion of the
DODC data provided to the FCC which pertains to services provided in West Virginia by
March 24, 2023. The specific portion of this data and the method through which it should
be submitted is outlined in the published documentation.
