Governor Jim Justice has announced Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds dedicated to broadband development projects throughout the state. More than $2.4 million is being dedicated to broadband planning and infrastructure for the 2018 program year.

To date, Gov. Justice has announced CDBG awards for broadband development in:

Brooke County

Grant County

Lewis County

Jefferson County

Marshall County

Mason County

McDowell County

Mercer County

Nicholas County

Pocahontas County

Wayne County

Further award announcements are forthcoming and will be noted on this website.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development provides CDBG funds to the state.  The West Virginia Development Office managers these funds.
