Governor Jim Justice announces collaboration with Facebook

Governor Jim Justice announced plans for a major broadband infrastructure project in West Virginia through a collaboration with Facebook. This project will expand connectivity throughout West Virginia communities and establish the state as a preferred route for fiber backbone construction, building upon West Virginia’s proximity between major internet exchanges in Ohio and Virginia.  Senator Shelley Moore Capito, state Legislators and other state agency officials joined the Governor and Facebook company officials in this announcement.
