U.S. Census Bureau Seeks Digital Workforce

Reliable internet broadband connectivity and a skilled digital workforce will be essential for West Virginia in the 2020 U.S. Census. That was the message delivered by Roxanne Wallace, Area Manager of the U.S. Census Bureau in Philadelphia at a recent Broadband Council meeting.  Wallace said the upcoming census will be gathered primarily online. To ensure the highest proficiency, the U.S. Census Bureau is hiring and training a significant workforce that is proficient in digital literacy. The state's Census Bureau office is located in Beckley and hiring is being conducted in 11 different job categories.
