A new Questions Submission Form is available for interested applicants
The West Virginia Department of Economic Development, Office of Broadband (WVDED) is preparing to launch three Digital Equity Grant Programs centered around:
- Digital Skills Training
- Affordable Devices
- Local Digital Equity Planning
These grants, funded by West Virginia’s Digital Equity Capacity Grant award, will begin accepting applications in Spring 2025. Detailed program procedures, including eligible entities, eligible activities, scoring criteria, application requirements, and more, will be publicly posted before the application portal opens.
WVDED encourages applications from community anchor institutions, economic development organizations, local governments, nonprofit organizations, and other entities that serve the eight Digital Equity Act covered populations.
To submit questions on these programs, please use theQuestion Submission Form. WVDED will respond to questions directly via email. Questions will also be collected and answered in a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document on our website.
