FirstEnergy Broadband Feasibility Study

The Monongahela Power (MonPower) and The Potomac Edison Company (PE), wholly owned subsidiaries of FirstEnergyCorp. (FirstEnergy), have submitted a feasibility study to the West Virginia Broadband Enhancement Council pursuant to West Virginia Code Sec. 31G-4-5 for a proposed project in portions of Wood and Ritchie Counties, in West Virginia. The Council will consider the feasibility study and any public comments upon that study at its February 20, 2020, meeting held at 10:00 a.m., at the West Virginia State Capitol, Building 3, First Floor Conference Room 124. Comments may be submitted by email to WVBroadbandCouncil@wv.gov, and mailed to the West Virginia Broadband Enhancement Council, West Virginia Department of Commerce, at Building 3, Suite 600, 1900 Kanawha Blvd. East, Charleston, WV 25305.
